NEC Women’s Ice Hockey to Face Manhattanville College in ECAC East Quarterfinal
HENNIKER, N.H. – New England College women’s ice hockey has earned the #7 seed heading into the ECAC East Playoffs and will travel to battle the #2 seeded Manhattanville College Valiants on Saturday in ECAC East Quarterfinal action.
The Pilgrims finished the regular season with an overall record of 8-11-6 and an ECAC East record of 5-9-4, while the Valiants closed out the regular season 16-8-1 overall and 14-3-1 in conference. The two teams met once back on February 2 as Manhattanville shutout the Pilgrims 3-0 here in Henniker.
The game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23 but time and location has yet to be determined. Check the NEC Athletic website for more information on game coverage.
The winner of Saturday’s quarterfinal matchup will advance to the ECAC East Semifinals which will be held Saturday, March 2 at the highest remaining seed’s institution.
