NEC Women’s Lacrosse Heading to UMaine Farmington for NAC Quarterfinal
New England College women’s lacrosse has earned the fifth seed heading into the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) playoffs this week and will face the fourth seeded University of Maine Farmington Beavers in quarterfinal action on Wednesday, April 24.
NEC finished the regular season 4-13 and closed out NAC play with a record of 2-4 earning the fifth seed, while UMaine Farmington has a record of 5-7 on the season and a NAC record of 3-3 earning the fourth seed.
The Pilgrims will head to Farmington, Maine to meet up with the Beavers for the second time in less than a week. The two teams met on Saturday, April 20 as UMaine Farmington came away with the tight 10-9 victory.
The winner of Wednesday’s quarterfinal will advance to the championship weekend and face the host and the top seed Castleton State College on Saturday in one of two semifinals played that day.
