NEC’s Zak Harris Named NSCAA Scholar All-East Honorable Mention

Henniker, NH – New England College men’s soccer midfielder Zak Harris (Bennington, Vt.) has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men’s College Division Scholar All-East Region Honorable Mention Team for his performance on the field and in the classroom this fall.

Junior Zak Harris, has been a three-year member of the soccer team and this season earned North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Second Team All-Conference honors starting all 20 games for the Pilgrims finishing the season with four goals and two assists.

To be eligible for any NSCAA All-Academic Team the student-athlete must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average, start more than 50 percent of all games and be a significant contributor to the team.  In addition the student-athlete must be a junior or above in academic standing and but in his second year at the institution if a transfer student.
