New England College Names Mary V. Bell to Board of Trustees
President Perkins announces the appointment of Mary V. Bell to the New England College Board of Trustees.
Mary Virginia Bell is a 1980 graduate from the University of Vermont. With three children, Clint at the University of Colorado (Denver); Corley, Bucknell ’11 and Teach for America ’13; and Cody, Salisbury School ’11, Dartmouth College ’15, she is a veteran of the higher education process.
As a member of the President’s Advisory Board, Mary V. has been to several events at NEC that have given her an introduction to the College and Board of Trustees. She has served on other boards including the Princeton Symphony Orchestra, Young Audiences of New Jersey, Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, the Hun School of Princeton Parent Board and the Salisbury School Parent Board. For the past few years, Mary V. has been the general manager of a golf course, bar, restaurant, banqueting facilities, and an Inn in upstate New York. She is presently a Sales Associate for a Salesforce.com customization firm, Arkus, Inc., and is also the Sales Director for a social media advertising company in Princeton, New Jersey where she lives with her husband Stuart.
