Professional Writers Discussion Series: "Teaching Writing to Incarcerated Students"

When: Monday, March 26
Where: Danforth Library, New England Room
Time: 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Join NEC Professor Andrew Morgan as he discusses the rewards and difficulties inherent in the process of teaching writing to incarcerated individuals. He will provide a brief overview focusing on his work over the past few years with inmates enrolled in the NEC Prison Program. To satisfactorily highlight the relevance to the NEC community of the issues surrounding teaching writing in such a unique environment, the majority of the hour will be dedicated to a Q&A format. Please come with two or three prepared questions.

This event is sponsored by the Danforth Library and NEC Writing Department. Contact cryan@nec.edu for details.
