Orientation

Thank you for joining us at New England College. We can’t wait for you to arrive on campus, and work hard to create orientation experiences that aim to connect you to our campus. Preparing students to succeed is what we are all about at NEC!

Welcome Weekend (Fall Orientation)

orientation-welcome-students
Incoming students (first year and transfer) who are not playing a fall sport will move onto campus on Friday, August 26, 2016. A mandatory orientation program will take place Friday, August 26 through Sunday, August 28. Classes begin on Monday, August 29. New students who are commuting are also expected to participate in Welcome Weekend. A complete schedule of events for the weekend can be found here. (updated 8/22/16)

If you are an incoming student and playing a fall sport, you should contact your coach directly to find out your move-in date.

Welcome Weekend is an opportunity for the incoming class to get to know the campus, their peers, and the policies at NEC before starting the semester.

As you are getting ready to come to NEC and are wondering what you should bring to campus with you, please review the list from Residential Life & Housing on what to pack and what to leave at home that can be found here.

Spring Orientation

Incoming students (first year and transfer) who are starting for the spring 2017 semester will have a Spring Orientation, scheduled for Sunday, January 15, 2017.  More details will be available for this day-long orientation program by December 15, 2016.

If you have more questions about the new student orientation programs, please contact the Office of Student Engagement by calling 603.428.2429.
