Edge Sports New Hampshire
Edge Sports NH is a commercial magazine operated by New England College students and distributed through New Hampshire Department of Travel and Tourism welcome centers. This experiential course, BU 3840, allows students to apply knowledge of outdoor sports, sales, writing, photography, or PhotoShop and InDesign software as part-time employees of a real business. The magazine was developed by Solomon Media, of New London, New Hampshire. In 2006, Solomon Media invited New England College to take over management and operation of the magazine. In 2007, New England College acquired ownership of the magazine. Edge Sports is a full color magazine with eye-catching articles and advertisements. It targets active tourists that come to New Hampshire for vacation and other family activities. The average total annual circulation is 8,000 copies. The magazine is produced twice a year. Over the years, it has become New Hampshire’s source for active outdoor sports and recreation.
