Inez McDermott
The 2012 recipient of the Robert A. Kilgore Faculty Award is Inez McDermott, Associate Professor of Art and Art History. Dr. Hilton Hallock, Vice President for Academic Affairs, presented the award to Professor McDermott at the 2012 Commencement of New England College on May 12.
The Robert A. Kilgore Faculty Award is presented to a member of the faculty whose distinguished service to the teaching profession is recognized by students, staff, and fellow faculty members.
Inez began teaching at the College in 2000. She was one of one of approximately 20 participants selected from the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) member institutions to participate in a week-long seminar at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia last summer and was recently presented with the 2012 Campus Compact Presidents’ Good Steward Award.
