Most on-site services, including walk-in appointments and laboratory work, are free of charge to full-time students who have paid the Student Services fee as part of their general tuition. (We do charge a fee for immunizations and certain other prescription medications.)
Charges for local emergency room visits, hospital stays, or treatments from local specialists are submitted for payment to your primary insurance provider at home. If you do not have primary insurance coverage or are unsure of your insurance's out-of-state benefits, we strongly recommend that you sign up for the Supplemental Student Insurance available through the Business Office (ext. 2226). Questions concerning coverage and other plan options should be directed to 1-800-327-7567.
Health education and preventative services include: Nutrition counseling, Pregnancy testing and counseling, Free gynecological exams, HIV testing and counseling, Instruction in testicular self-exams, Contraceptive counseling, Walk-in non-emergency care, STD testing and treatment, Referral for mental health issues, Outreach Education on a variety of topics, and Pap Smears.

Our nurses and doctors are here to help you when you are sick or hurt, and also to guide you toward good health practices that will benefit you throughout life. The services we provide are confidential, caring, and focused on you as a whole person.
