Summer Registration Days
During your visit to New England College for summer registration days you will have time to establish your goals and learn about yourself and what New England College has to offer. Throughout this one day program, both students and their families will have an opportunity to take care of their financial aid, finalize their course registration, meet other students and their families, and get a more detailed look at the residence halls.
How do I sign up?
We invite you to select one of two dates for summer registration days: July 13 or July 27, 2012. You will receive a registration form in the mail that you may fill out and return, or you can visit the Admission website to sign up (http://www.nec.edu/admission/visit).
Why should I attend and what will I get out of attending?
During summer registration days you will get a close up encounter with all of the areas on campus. Students will choose their class schedules during this time, as well as take care of any paperwork and have an opportunity to meet with Student Financial Services. Students will also meet other incoming students and be able to find a group of students to become friends with. Specifically for family members, you will be able to help your student take care of any student financial aid and learn more about what our departments have to offer and how you can partner with the administration to develop a strong connection.
Should my parent or guardian attend?
Yes, parents and/or guardians are encouraged to attend as we have activities planned for them as well to gain the same knowledge as the students.
Fall Orientation/Welcome Weekend
All new NEC students will move in on Saturday, September 1, 2012 (Fall athletes arrive earlier, please contact your coach for more information). Welcome Weekend will continue through the weekend and the first week of classes, and more information will follow as we get closer to this date!
