Products and Services

Along with both new and used textbooks the bookstore also offers a selection of school supplies, New England College logo clothing and gift items, computer supplies, greeting cards and balloons, residence hall supplies, health and beauty items, snacks and soda, Graduation Caps and Gowns, film developing and dry cleaning services.

In order to offer more flexible and affordable textbook options, many textbooks are available as digital books or as rentals. Textbooks, gift cards, and many other items can be ordered online from the campus bookstore at www.nec.bkstr.com. Online orders can be shipped, or held for pickup at the store.

We accept personal checks with valid NEC I.D./driver's license, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Student Financial Aid is also accepted.

Textbook Return Policy

Textbooks may be returned within the first week of classes up to the end of the add/drop period or within two business days if purchased thereafter. The sales slip must accompany a return, and books must be in original purchase condition. Rental books can be refunded within the add/drop period and must be checked in to the bookstore by the last day of final exams.

The bookstore will buy back textbooks year-round. Books must be current editions, in resalable condition with no water damage, pages missing, or workbook pages completed. At the end of each semester, the bookstore will pay up to 50% of the purchase price for those titles that have been ordered for the upcoming semester. If a title has not been ordered for the next semester, we offer the National Market Value which is usually between 10%-30% of the purchase price, depending on the demand for the book nationally.
