Residential Life and Housing Staff
As a small residential community, the primary focus of the Residential Life and Housing staff is to provide a living and learning environment that directly supports each student’s educational, social, and personal development. At New England College, our goal is to work with each student to create a “home away from home.” Our staff is committed to making your out-of-classroom experience be the best it can be, and we strive to serve our diverse community by maintaining a healthy and safe living and learning environment that promotes intellectual curiosity, personal accountability, civility, and social development for all students.
Each of our residence halls is staffed by both full time live-in professional Area Coordinators and highly trained upper-class students who serve as Resident Advisors. The in-hall staff is the best resource for students to turn to whenever an issue arises in the residence halls, and we encourage students to contact a Residential Life staff member should they need assistance, advice, or just someone to talk to. Resident Advisors also plan social and educational programs and activities for all residents to attend, with a focus on building community and overall student development.
