Anna Schölch
Anna was born in Sweden, raised in Germany, and educated in the United States. She graduated from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2019 with a major in Creative Writing and a minor in Illustration. She works primarily in pastel on paintings that examine the looming threat of an ending human race by investigating invisibility. Most recently, she has had her work exhibited with the Pastel Society of America, the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, the Irving Art Association, and several other pastel societies. When she is not creating, she enjoys biking on lonely roads and trails in search of familiar, European-resembling places to inspire and fuel her work.
Anna is currently showing her work in the Pastel Society of America’s 49th Annual Exhibition: Enduring Brilliance. She also won the Kenneth Wellner Memorial Award.
