Admissions Events and Tours

We love having visitors on campus and encourage you to visit New England College a couple of times. We want you to feel what it’s like to attend college in a small, New England town. We want you to attend a sporting or theatrical event, observe a class in session, meet faculty and staff dedicated to the student experience, and informally walk around campus.

Weekday Campus Tours

If you are unable to attend one of our events, we invite you to schedule a campus tour with a Student Ambassador. Tours are given Monday through Friday at 10:30am and 2pm as well as select Saturdays at 10am and 11:30am. Our campus tours are student-led and typically take one hour. The tour highlights various points of interest throughout campus, including academic buildings, athletic facilities, our student center and a first year residence hall. If you have a specific person on campus that you would like to meet (Financial Aid Counselor, Professor, or Coach) during your visit please call us we will try to schedule an appointment for you.

Pilgrims on the Peak

Spend the day like a New England College student. Join us for a tour Monday through Friday and after your tour you will receive a free lift ticket to ski at Pat’s Peak conveniently located two miles from campus! Accompanying family members are also invited to ski for free! Rentals extra, while supplies last.

Saturday Information Sessions & Tours

Join our Dean of Admission for a light breakfast with other prospective families. Then, the Admission Counselors along with faculty and staff will present important information every prospective Pilgrim should know. This will be followed by a campus tour and lunch in our Gilmore Dining Hall.

Athletic Open House

Are you interested in learning more about what it means to be a New England College Pilgrim? Join us for our upcoming Athletics Open House! At this event, you have the opportunity to meet with our coaches, admission counselors, financial aid counselors, faculty members, and staff. There will also be time to tour our rural campus for a glimpse of life at New England College. New England College competes in 17 men’s and women’s varsity sports at the NCAA Division III level. In addition to varsity sports, the Athletic Department sponsors a number of affiliated club programs, including ice hockey and rugby. These programs provide opportunities for student-athletes to be a part of an expanding and exciting Pilgrim family.

Accepted Student’s Day

If you have been accepted to New England College, you and your family are invited to campus to enjoy a day of activities that will help you become more familiar with the New England College community and the many opportunities that await you here. Accepted Students Day is a special program designed to offer all the information you need to choose New England College. Even if you previously visited for a tour or other campus event, this day offers unique insights into being a Pilgrim! This is a community experience where many individuals and offices from around campus will be available to answer questions. While at lunch sit and meet your future faculty members and ask them questions about the classes you will be taking. All accepted and deposited students are encouraged to attend. Save the dates:

Class Observations

We want prospective students to experience academics at New England College and observe faculty in their classroom environment. After class, sit and speak with the professor one-on-one to get another perspective on life at NEC. Classroom visits are offered Monday through Friday throughout the semester. Please contact the Office of Admission at 603.428.2223or admission@nec.edu so we can make it happen.

Group Programs

Interested in bringing a group of students to campus? We can arrange a great experience for you. Tour campus with one of our smart and friendly Student Ambassadors, and have an informal chat with one of our admission counselors. If you have a more detailed program in mind, please let us know at least two weeks prior to your preferred visit date. We’ll do our very best to accommodate.
