Our Manchester campus, 30 minutes from our main campus in Henniker, is home to the Institute of Art and Design at New England College. We are a campus devoted to the arts, with a community of faculty and students who share your obsession with creativity, your desire to engage with the world and make a difference. Whether you pursue a BFA or low-residency MFA, you will find world-class studios, guidance, and instruction so that you can live your life as a creative.
This campus is in the middle of a thriving city. Students can walk downtown to enjoy coffee shops, a ton of restaurants, cultural events, and shopping. We’re also in close proximity to Boston, New York City and Montreal where we travel at various times of the year to visit art galleries, museums and exhibitions.
NEC offers a free shuttle service for students, making daily runs between campuses, as well as weekly runs to Concord and runs to the Concord bus station and Manchester airport before and after College breaks.
