What is STOP Day?
“STOP Day” is loosely defined as the day that tuition stops paying for the cost of a student’s education. In other words, this is the day that donations and philanthropy become critical to an institution’s ability to deliver a quality education.
On Wednesday, April 2, 2014, students will take part in Stop Day by visiting the Currier Alumni Center to get their pictures taken to help thank all the alumni who have provided scholarship opportunities for New England College students.
On Thursday, April 3, 2014, we pay tribute to the donors and supporters who give back to the College. Because of their generosity, NEC is able to provide financial assistance to students who would otherwise not be able to attend NEC.
On April 3 we also invite others to join the celebration of “paying it forward.” The New England College Annual Fund primarily supports student scholarships. Please support NEC students by contributing to this year’s annual fund. Click here to pay it forward. Thank you!
