Blackboard Password Issues
Your Blackboard user name and password is the same information you use for logging into to your New England College e-mail. Please click on this link to go to your NEC email account to reset your password. If you are a new student (or faculty) you must log into your New England College e-mail account before you attempt to log into Blackboard. Your password is a temporary password and you are required to change it the first time you check your New England College e-mail. The temporary password will not work as a Blackboard password.
Do not use: @nec.edu at the end of your username to log into Blackboard. If you have logged into e-mail and changed your password and you still cannot access Blackboard please send an e-mail to helpdesk@nec.edu and include in the title “Cannot Log into Blackboard”

Please use your NEC email address and password to log in to MyNEC.
If you receive errors “Session timeout occurred” or “An error occurred. Please login again.” using the email option, please sign out of your email account and close all open browser sessions (not just the open tabs), then reopen the site. If the problem persists, try to clear your browser cache. You can also try using a private browser window or a separate browser. When logging out of MyNEC, you must close the browser session to avoid these errors at next login.
For additional issues with logging in to your MyNEC account using the email address option, please contact helpdesk@nec.edu. For urgent issues, please call 877.290.3627 or visit https://support.nec.edu and use the live chat feature.
If you are unable to use the email login, then you can use the PIN login option.
PIN Login Tips:
Current users who have forgotten their MyNEC PIN.
Enter your User ID# in and click “Forgot Pin.” You will be prompted to answer your security questions and you will be able to reset your PIN.
If you are still not able to access MyNEC, please contact helpdesk@nec.edu or registrarsoffice@nec.edu for assistance.
When logging out of MyNEC, you must close the browser session to avoid errors at next login.
