The New Orleans Program at
New England College and Henniker Peace Community will co-sponsor "An Evening of Jazz" on Saturday, November 5
at 7:30 p.m. in the Simon Center Great Room.* The evening will feature
performances by legendary jazz trombonist Delfeayo Marsalis and the Paul
Bourgelais Trio. *An Informal jam session and CD signing will take
place in the Tortington Arms Pub immediately following the performance.
This event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted
to benefit the Uptown Music Theatre of New Orleans.
The Uptown Music Theatre was founded in 1997 to provide musical
theatre training for young adults in New Orleans. Each year, members of
the ensemble offer performances of original musicals that focus on
community unity.
