STUDENT EXHIBIT: “Exploring Communities in Our Towns: The New Hampshire Town Meeting”
A student exhibit and reception will be held Monday, May 9 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the New England College Art Gallery. This exhibit is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
During
the 2010-2011 academic year, students Zachary Harris, Erica Lebel,
Erica Lieblich, Autumn Monsees, Ashley Paul, Pat Perugino, Katherine
Rhames, Katherine Rich, Chaloe Tyler, and Molly Wilcox were chosen to
participate in a Periclean Faculty Leadership Program, focusing on
creative responses to participatory democracy, specifically, the New
Hampshire Town Meeting. This exhibit will feature their responses to
their study of participatory democracy in New Hampshire. Work on
display will include photographs, drawings, paintings, manuscripts,
plays, installations, and other mixed media works.
