Is the use of polygraph an effective and aceptable tool for criminal investigation? Why is it not "legally recognized" in a court of law? How does the polygraph work?
These and other questions will be addressed during a presentation on the use of the polygraph by Detective David Perkins of the Belknap County (N.H.) Sheriff's Office. This event is open to all NEC Criminal Justice majors, staff and faculty. It will include a live polygraph examination given to two student volunteers.
