New England College Welcomes Dr. Michael Taberski to Its Board of Trustees
Michael Taberski, EdD, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of New England College, bringing seasoned leadership in higher‐education student and campus life to the College’s governing body.
Dr. Taberski currently serves as Vice President for Student and Campus Life at SUNY Geneseo, where he draws on over two decades of experience in liberal arts institutions to shape inclusive, supportive environments for students.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Taberski held the role of Vice President for Student Affairs at New England College, spearheading programs to support first‐year and traditionally underserved students, enhance student‐support systems and strengthen community relations.
He holds an EdD in Higher Education Administration from New England College, an MS in Educational Leadership—College Student Development from Oklahoma State University, and a BS in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Niagara University.

Dr. Taberski’s appointment will take effect immediately. His contributions will amplify NEC’s efforts to ensure strong governance, robust student support, and strategic momentum as the College continues its growth.
