Big Block of Cheese Day 2026

On February 22, 1837, President Andrew Jackson was gifted a gigantic 1,400-pound wheel of cheese. He opened the doors of the White House literally and figuratively so that anyone who wanted could come to speak with him and also partake of the cheese.

In the spirit of community, President Wayne Lesperance will host the fourth Big Block of Cheese Day for the NEC community.
