Fall Welcome Orientation 2026

Fall Welcome kicks off with Move-In Day and continues right up until the first day of classes. This required program is your official start at NEC—and it’s for everyone: first-year, commuter, and transfer students. During Fall Welcome, you’ll connect with your First-Year Student group, explore academic life, learn important safety and wellness info, and jump into fun campus traditions. It’s a great way to meet people and get comfortable before classes begin.

Fall Welcome Orientation Dates

Thursday, August 20–Sunday, August 23, 2026*

New students participate in all four days of orientation.

Transfer students participate in programming on Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21, 2026.

*No registration is required for this program.
