29 Pilgrims Named to LEC Winter 2025–2026 All-Academic Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Little East Conference (LEC) announced its 2025–2026 Winter All-Academic Teams on Friday, with 29 Pilgrims across the New England College men’s and women’s Ice Hockey teams being honored.

To be named to the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be at least in sophomore standing in the classroom, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or higher through the previous semester, and have been at their current institution for at least a full academic year.

The women’s Ice Hockey team landed 13 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team, while the men’s Ice Hockey team featured 16 student-athletes.

The list of honorees is as following:

Women’s Ice Hockey: Lucy Armour, Samantha Babbitt, Jamie Blondin, Kate Devlin, Meadow Gilchrist, Sofia Gualtieri, Cordelia Hauck, Alexis Hornsby, Mae Lafferty, Kayden Lallier Whissell, Isabella Marzano, Jordan Pond, and Gina Sciortino

Men’s Ice Hockey: Anthony Beaulieu, Nick Becker, Quillon Bowman, Gus Cantwell, Dylan Duckson, Matthew Esquerre, Duncan Fleming, Graham Hassan, Jack Herron, Oliver Juen-Tavell, Egor Osipik, Graham Padgitt, Christophe Petit, Jakub Rusina, Gunnar Sibley, and Bryce Sturm

Over 580 student athletes were named to the conference’s all-academic team. NEC’s 29 recognized student-athletes fall under the affiliate members’ category, and the full list can be found here.
