On-campus tuition to average $12,500 after aid

Henniker, NH—On November 5, 2022, the New England College (NEC) Board of Trustees voted to freeze tuition for the 2023–2024 academic year. This freeze maintains current rates for the upcoming academic year and applies to all of NEC’s on-campus and online students.

NEC provides extensive opportunities for students to pursue higher education and now takes decisive steps to make its degree programs even more affordable:

  • Current students will receive no tuition increase in 2023–2024.
  • On-campus students will pay a yearly average of $12,500 in tuition after scholarship and other College assistance, with additional charges for room and board.
  • An online bachelor’s degree costs $10,500 per year on average.
  • Community college transfer students are eligible for a flat tuition of $10,000 as well as up to 90 transfer credits toward a New England College degree.

“As costs across all areas of life have risen sharply, we recognized the need to extend additional savings to our students while maintaining a high-quality experience,” stated Dr. Wayne Lesperance, Interim President of NEC. “We are proud that NEC can make it possible for all admitted students to attain their educational goals.”

NEC offers students the opportunity to live what they learn and fosters student success in and out of the classroom. This tuition freeze demonstrates NEC’s continued commitment to excellence and attainable higher education.
