New England College (NEC) will welcome the Eastern New England Biology Conference (ENEBC) on Saturday, April 25. This annual event showcases the work of some of the region’s brightest minds in undergraduate biological research. Throughout the day, undergraduate students from across New England will share their research through poster or oral presentations.

Attendees will enjoy a keynote address delivered by Laura Sams Jordan and Robert Sams of Sisbro Studios. Laura and Robert are a sister/brother pair of zoologists, filmmakers, and songwriters who have created award-winning science content for over 20 years. They have created original content for PBS KIDS, the Jim Henson Company, the Smithsonian Channel, and NBC Universal.

“NEC students have presented research at ENEBC for almost 20 years, so it is an honor to host ENEBC this year,” stated Dr. Jim Newcomb, Dean of the Science, Health, and Exercise Division and Professor of Biology and Health Science at New England College. “The selection of NEC as the 2026 host institution highlights the growth of the College’s science research program over the last couple of decades, and it will be exciting for Henniker to be the epicenter of undergraduate biology in the New England region for a day.”

ENEBC brings together a network of more than 50 colleges and universities, fostering collaboration and generating new ideas within the field of academic biology.

Registration is now open at www.enebc.weebly.com. Registration and abstract submittals are due by Thursday, March 26.
