Student Spotlight: Natalia Gonzalez ʼ27

Through the NH-LIFT grant, NEC students are gaining real world research experience.

Natalia Gonzalez ’27, a Biology and Criminal Justice major, shares her experience at the 2025 NH-LIFT Summit. She talks about the biology project she worked on in the field. From collecting bugs to collaborating with fellow students, Natalia loved every moment.

Natalia also shares how double majoring in two very different fields at NEC has been an incredible opportunity to connect disciplines and grow academically.
