The New England College President’s Speaker Series is open to the public at no cost. Please check event details to see if tickets are required.

The New England College President’s Speaker Series brings leaders from the world of business, non-profits, and public policy to the Simon Center Great Room throughout the academic year to engage in lively conversations with students, faculty, and the community. New England College President Michele Perkins seeks leaders who, through their lives and work, reflect New England College values of leadership, civil discourse, social justice, and inspired transformation.

We hope you can join us, as New England College welcomes New Hampshire business leader, entrepreneur, and community leader Jeremy Hitchcock on Tuesday, March 31, at 5:00 p.m. as part of its President’s Speaker Series.

Hitchcock—known for building mission-driven companies, teams, and ecosystems—founded Dyn, an internet infrastructure company acquired by Oracle in 2017, from his Worcester Polytechnic Institute dorm room in 2001.

As part of this moderated discussion, Hitchcock will talk about his business career, the status of the high-tech industry, and the importance of investing and giving back to the community.

These words spoken by business executive Paul Montrone define his professional and personal interests alike. And against this measuring stick, his day-to-day performance points to success.

After beginning at the Pentagon as a Captain and helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army, Montrone went on to build and manage successful companies and become an ardent supporter of the arts, education, medical research, and human services.

  • Transformed Fisher Scientific International Inc. into a global enterprise offering more than 600,000 products and services in 150 countries with a sales increase from $760 million to $6 billion
  • Supporter of healthcare policy at the national level, including a role in the Clinton administration
  • Music aficionado who has served multiple organizations, including The Metropolitan Opera, the New England Conservatory of Music, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra
