Vice President of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies
Sherry Kollmann serves as the Vice President for the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. Dr. Kollmann has over 20 years of combined experience in business and higher education. Prior to her transition to higher education, she served as a business leader where she collaborated and consulted with small to Fortune 500 organizations on workforce solutions.
Dr. Kollmann earned her BA degree from Bethel College, MA from Concordia University, and an M.Ed and PhD at the University of Oklahoma. She has published in multiple peer reviewed journals, in addition to a recent book chapter. Her research has allowed her to present at both national and international conferences. Her research specialties include: digital learning, motivation in education, instructional design, and integrated learning.
Her background designing and developing, educating and researching in face-to-face, hybrid, and online environments, in addition to her background in instructional psychology foster her drive to reimagine, redesign, and execute learning environments and programs that create an equal opportunity for every student to succeed. Dr. Kollmann is a strategic leader applying learning research and innovative practices to develop, implement, and manage measureable educational and academic programs.
