2008 Henniker Old Home Days
Come join us for the 2008 Henniker Old Home Days on August 1, 2, and 3rd on Main Street in Henniker. Listen to one of our live bands on the lawn of the Community Center or take a stroll over to the New England College Art Gallery to view their latest exhibition. Local restaurants will have food booths set up, the Congregational Church will host a quilt show, and the Henniker Historical Society will have special exhibits set up. NEC Gallery Hosts Henniker Old Home Days Exhibit, “Bridging Generations Together”
The Gallery at New England College is host for a special exhibit this summer as part of the Henniker Old Home Days Celebration "Bridging Generations Together," August 1-3, 2008. In the spirit of the Old Home Days generations’ theme, this exhibit will feature works by Henniker artists ranging in age from 7th grade through college age and the work in of several professional Henniker artists including Jan Seavey, Morgan Murdough, and Dawn Blanchard. Works in this special exhibit will include paintings, mixed media collage, prints, hooked rugs and glass.
Admission to the New England College Gallery is free. Gallery hours for this exhibit are: Friday, August 1 from 6 to 10 PM, Saturday, August 2 from 2 to 5 PM, and Sunday, August 3 from 10 AM until noon.
