Travel Talk on Bhutan at NEC
World travelers, Bill and Ann Kellogg, will share their experiences and slides from a recent trip to Bhutan in South Asia. The travel program will be held on Wednesday, March 11th in the Danforth Library at New England College at 7:00 p.m. Sponsored by the Friends of the New England College Library, the program is free and open to the public.
Sharing borders with India to the south and west, and Tibet to the north and east, Bhutan is known as the Land of the Thunder Dragon. Ranked as one of the happiest countries in the world, Bhutan traces the origins of its civilization to nearly 2,000 B.C. A mountainous country, Bhutan has a number of peaks over 20,000 feet.
