From their very first year, New England
College students can be found in the classroom inspiring children to
read, developing an after school program, directing a student
performance, or leading other students to improve their own schools.
By gaining knowledge and becoming an active member of the community,
our students experience a genuine sense of achievement and know that
their contributions are authentic and valued.
New England College’s educational studies major is a non-certification track for students who are interested in learning more about education, but are not intending to obtain teacher certification. The program is designed for students pursuing careers as paraprofessionals, daycare providers, or other careers working with children or youth. Students will learn about education as a discipline, learning communities, growth and development, psychology, and teaching methodology.
