B. Environmental Core Courses

  • Computer course approved by the ES faculty
  • BI 1110 - General Biology I (4 credits)
  • ES 1110 - Environmental Science: A Global Concern (4 credits)
  • ES 2050 - Environmental Policy and Regulation
  • ES 4830 – Independent Study in Environmental Science (1 – 4 credits)
    or ES 4910 - Environmental Science Internship (1 – 15 credits)
  • MT 2310 – Statistics
  • One Analytical Methods Course

·                    ES 2350 – Surveying, Field Measurements, and Mapping

·                    ES 2450 – Environmental Impact Assessment

·         One Sustainability Course

·                    ES 3450 – Strategies for Achieving Sustainable Developments

·                    ES 3650 - Planning Sustainable Communities 

C. Environmental Studies Concentration

D.  Minor in a Related Discipline Offered by the College

Environmental studies majors are required to minor in a related discipline offered by the College or to individually design a minor in consultation with the environmental sciences faculty (normally 6-7 courses.)
