Why Become a Member of LINEC?
LINEC is a program to educate, entertain, and enhance life, offering non-credit, peer-led, peer-taught courses, totally volunteer, for the sheer pleasure of learning, and is open to both retired and younger adults.
LINEC offers three terms each academic year, each lasting approximately five to six weeks:
Fall (October and November)
Spring (April and May)
Summer (July)
LINEC classes are sponsored by the Learning Institute at New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, for the benefit of its members.

What's New?
We are pleased to announce an additional class to our fall LINEC schedule: Learn to Mediate taught by Fran Vainas. This class is in addition to what was sent out in the catlog and tri-folds in mid September 2011.
The LINEC fall term schedule is now available starting October 17, 2011 and running till November 22, 2011. You will find new classes covering The World of Opera with Robert C. Babb and a series of speakers speaking about the story of Franklin Pierce in addition to many old favorites. The courses and schedule for the Spring Term planned for April 2012 is being worked on and should be available by early March 2012.
The LINEC Annual Meeting will be held at New England College on Saturday September 17 in the Sayce Lounge, Simon Center starting at 9:30am with breakfast refreshments. We have a speaker at 10:00am, NEC History Professor J.L. Walsh, speaking about New Hampshire's Role in the Civil War. The LINEC Annual Meeting will begin at 11:00am. We hope all of our members will be able to attend.
