Professionals in the field of kinesiology design and implement physical activity programs that include individuals with a variety of physical characteristics and are safe, effective, and enjoyable. The Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology program prepares students for careers related to physical activity and provides a firm foundation in the liberal arts. The program may also be tailored to accommodate specific student needs. Graduates pursue careers as physical education teachers, health-fitness instructors, athletic or personal trainers, exercise or recreation leaders, coaches, or athletic administrators. The degree in Kinesiology is also helpful for those interested in pursuing professional certification programs.
