Below is the checklist for International students to follow as they complete their applications for admission to New England College.
___Complete New England College application or Common Application ($30.00 application fee).
___Submit original Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge, or equivalent language proficiency tests) scores, if English is your second language.
___Official High School Transcripts/College Transcript: A transcript must contain the following information-
A. Subjects studied, marks or grades awarded, grading scale with minimum marks.
Year-by-year records must be sent directly to the College from the issuing institution.
B. Documents in a language other than English should be accompanied by certified English translations. Certification must be done by an officer of the educational institution or by a United States Official.
___ Two recommendations, one must be an academic recommendation the other can be from a college counselor, employer, or school administrator.
___ Personal Essay: Essays may be written on any subject. Examples of topics used in essays include turning points in your life, a rewarding academic or other living experience, travel or living experience in other countries, or a person who influenced or inspired you.
I-20 Student Visa Requirements: Once all the documents are received and the student has been accepted, only then will New England College process the student I-20.
___ Tuition deposit of $300.00
___ Declaration and Certification of Finances (DCF) form.
___ Official bank statements verifying the availability of funds. This must be either a bank statement or a credit reference from a bank indicating a specific dollar amount in the account, or a statement verifying a minimum of the college costs.

___ I-901 Form: Once above documentation is received and the student is accepted, only then will New England College process the student I-20. When students receive their I-20, they will be required to complete the I-901 form. Click here to go the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement website to complete the form online. After completing the form, students must pay the I-901 Fee, and be sure to print a receipt. Students will need this receipt to enter the United States.
