When considering your next college, it is important to keep in mind how that institution will look at your transfer credits. NEC has created a liberal transfer policy that ensures that students will not be required to enroll extra semesters after transferring. The Transfer Admission Coordinator carefully evaluates all college-level coursework a student has taken to determine its transferability and can generally provide an assessment of the student's transcript within a few business days.

Upon acceptance students are automatically reviewed for New England College scholarship eligibility, and notified, in writing, of awards within two weeks of acceptance. Scholarships can range from $3,000 to $15,000 annually, based on your academic performance to date. Currently, New England College requires the FAFSA and CSS Profile (code 3657) for financial aid eligibility. As you apply to New England College, be sure to add our school code (002579) to your current financial aid application (FAFSA), or if completing for the first time, visit the FAFSA website at www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete your FAFSA application. Upon acceptance and once NEC has received the FAFSA results, a financial aid eligibility letter will be sent to prospective students. The Office of Admission encourages all students to meet with a Student Financial Services representative during the enrollment process. These meetings can be setup by calling the Office of Admission at 1.800.521.7642, or emailing the Office of Student Financial Services at sfs@nec.edu.

Students interested in learning more about the transfer process should contact Jeff Pruyne, the Transfer Coordinator, at 603-428-2225 or email at jpruyne@nec.edu.
