Baseball drops two games to Endicott
New England College baseball dropped two games to Endicott on Sunday afternoon, losing game one 0-5 and dropping game two 1-14. With the two losses the Pilgrims fall to 5-13 overall and 1-7 in the TCCC.
In game one Endicott would get on the board early scoring two runs in the first inning and would tack on single tallies in both the second and third to go up 4-0 heading into the fourth inning. The Pilgrims would have an opportunity late in the game as Dan Pratt would open the fifth with a walk and Jordan Morgan would follow with a double but Endicott would be able to keep the Pilgrims off the board and add a run late to grab the 5-0 win.
In game two the Pilgrims would strike first scoring a run in the top of the first but it would be all Endicott from there. The Gulls would score in each of the six innings played touching the Pilgrims for three runs in the first and fourth and four in the fifth cruising to the 14-1 win.
Leading the way for NEC in game two was Jimmy Hoyt and Dan Pratt who each singled.
