Caprotti, Fallon pick up conference honors
Two NEC Cross-Country runners picked up conference honors for their performance in Saturday’s meet at Western New England College in Springfield, Mass.
Senior runner Jesse Caprotti (W. Shokan, N.Y.) was named The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Runner of the Week for his performance at Western New England College this weekend. Caprotti was the top TCCC finisher, logging the seventh-place finish in the 129 runner field. Caprotti posted a career-best 8K time of 27:45 the second fastest mark in NEC history.
First-year runner Brooke Fallon (Dennis, Mass.) was named TCCC Rookie Runner of the Week for her performance at Western New England College this weekend. Fallon ran a career-best 5K time of 21:03 finishing 16th out of 150 runners.
