Cross Country competes in Smith Invitational
New England College men’s and women’s cross country teams both competed in the Smith College Invitational this past Saturday in Northampton, Mass. The men’s team finished eighth out of nine teams and the women placed tenth out of ten teams.
Leading the way for the men was Abimael Medina who finished the 5K race in a time of
18:34 good enough for 37th place.
NEC’s Mike Harrison finished 44th with a time of 18:43 and
Andrew Teixeira finished the race in a time of 22:30.
Leading the way for the women was first-year runner Jennifer Vadas who finished in 83rd place with a time of 26:26. Alanna McMullen wasn’t far behind finishing 85th running the 5K race in time of 26:33 and sophomore Teraysa White finished 93rd overall.
