Field Hockey earns ECAC New England Tournament bid

Henniker, N.H. – New England College field hockey as earned a bid to the ECAC New England Tournament with an overall record of 14-8 after falling to Nichols in the TCCC Championship on Saturday. The Pilgrims enter the tournament as the #5 seed and will head to Worcester, Mass. to face off against the fourth seeded WPI Engineers on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 6:00 p.m.


The last meeting between the two teams came in 2004 when the Pilgrims shutout the Engineers 7-0 at home. NEC holds the 6-2 advantage in all-time match-ups.  WPI enters the tournament with a record of 11-6 after falling to Springfield College in the NEWMAC Quarterfinals last week.
