The #2 seeded New England College field hockey team will host the # 6 seeded Salve Regina Seahawks in TCCC Semifinal action on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m.

The Pilgrims received a first round bye finishing the regular season with an overall record of 15-4 and a TCCC record of 7-1.  The Seahawks advanced to the semifinals by upsetting the #3 seeded Nichols College Bison 2-1 in penalty strokes in TCCC Quarterfinal action on Saturday.

The last meeting between the Seahawks and the Pilgrims was during the regular season back on Oct. 13 in Newport, R.I.  The two teams would head into the final ten minutes knotted at 1-1 but a late goal by NEC’s Jodie Dresser would lift the Pilgrims past the Seahawks 2-1.

The winner of Saturday’s game will advance to the TCCC Championship, opponent and site yet to be determined.
