Men's Soccer blanks Elms to grab first win

New England College senior Kagan Sinclair connected with a goal and an assist helping to lead the Pilgrims past the Elms College Blazers 4-0 Saturday afternoon in Chicopee. With the shutout win the Pilgrims even their overall record to 1-1.


The Pilgrims got on the board early as Peter Koskores netted an unassisted goal hitting the top right-hand corner of the net at the 13:51 mark to give NEC a 1-0 edge. Sinclair would put the Pilgrims up 2-0 as he would put in a pass from forward Paul McLean at the 24:21 mark.

 

  

First-year midfielder Taylor Federici would score NEC’s third goal of the game at the 71:00 mark and Keith Vosmus would tack on another Pilgrim goal just eight minutes later giving NEC the 4-0 lead.

 

Picking up the shutout win in net for NEC was TJ Doyle.
