Naime named TCCC Rookie of the Week

New England College first-year attack Amanda Naime (York, Maine) was named TCCC Rookie of the Week for her performance throughout the final week of the regular season. In a 3-0 week for the Pilgrims Naime totaled six goals, two assists, eight ground balls, eight draw controls, and three caused turnovers. She had two goals each in wins over Norwich (11-10), Anna Maria (18-4), and Salve Regina (21-16).


 

For the season Namie is fourth on the team in scoring with 26 points, including 21 goals and five assists.
