NEC Softball selected ninth in preseason poll
New England College softball has been picked to finish ninth in The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) preseason poll. The Pilgrims finished last season with an overall record of 10-24 and a TCCC record of 8-16. The Pilgrims picked up key wins over conference leaders Western New England College and Nichols College late in the season but fell short of the playoffs finishing the season tied for ninth in the conference standings.
Six-time defending TCCC Champions Endicott College was picked this season’s preseason favorite receiving 11 of the 13 first place votes. Western New England College was picked to finish second receiving two first place votes and Nichols College was picked third. To see the complete poll check out the TCCC website.
