New England College's Sarah Tracey would finish with two goals and one assist to lift the PIlgrims past UMass-Boston 6-3 Saturday evening in ECAC East Semifinal action. With the win the Pilgrims advance to the ECAC East Championship game for the second time in program history where they will meet #1 seeded Manhattanville College.

The Pilgrims wouldn't waste much time getting on the board as Stefanie Lewis would score assisted by Jana Schneider just 1:35 into the opening period.  The two teams would battle evenly through the remainder of the period before UMass-Boston would get on the board scoring on a delayed penalty with just under a minute remaining in the period sending the game into intermission tied 1-1.

The PIlgrims would quickly regain the lead in the second as Sarah Tracey would convert on a Pilgrim power-play just 30 seconds in to give NEC the 2-1 lead.  UMass-Boston would answer scoring at the 6:42 mark but NEC's Rachel White would score just three minutes later to give the Pilgrims the 3-2 lead heading into the final period.

The two teams would exchange goals early in the third period but Tracey would net her second goal of the evening at the 15:30 mark to give the PIlgrims some breathing room and the 5-3 lead.  NEC's Liz Ross would tack on a power-play empty-netter at the 18:48 mark to secure the 6-3 Pilgrim victory.

Leading the way for NEC was Sarah Tracey who finished with two goals and an assist. NEC's Liz Ross scored a goal and dished out two assists, while Jana Schneider finished with two assists on the evening.

Picking up the win in goal for the Pilgrims was Mary Roux who finished with 32 saves.
