O'Shaughnessy named TCCC Defensive Player of the Week
New England College women’s soccer defender Meghan O’Shaughnessy (Manchester, N.H.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Defensive Player of the Week for her performance throughout the week of Sept. 21 – Sept. 27.
O’Shaughnessy led the Pilgrims to two shutout
victories this week over conference opponents Anna Maria and Western New
England. In NEC’s 2-0 win over Anna
Maria the Pilgrim defense held the Amcats to just two shots on net. The Pilgrims then went on to beat Western New
England College for the first time in program history on Saturday as the
Pilgrim defense record their fourth consecutive shutout.
