Keeper Mary Roux picked up TCCC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season.
Roux picks up TCCC honors
Junior keeper Mary Roux (Auburn, Mass.) was named The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Defensive Player of the Week for her performance throughout the week of October 13-19.
Roux helped lead the Pilgrims to an impressive 3-0 week totaling 47 saves in three complete games in net. Roux had an incredible day in net recording a career-high 22 saves in NEC’s 3-2 double overtime win over in-state rival Plymouth State. Roux also had an impressive performance against TCCC rival Gordon College, recording 17 saves in a 3-2 win.
