New England College women’s lacrosse finished their 2009 campaign with an impressive 10-9 overall record and a Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) record of 5-4. The Pilgrims earned their sixth consecutive TCCC post-season berth earning the fifth seed and advanced to the semifinals after beating Gordon College in the quarterfinals. The Pilgrims faced off against the #1 ranked Endicott College Gulls in the semifinals falling to the eventual conference champions 4-11. The Pilgrims received the program’s third-ever bid to the ECAC New England Tournament but fell to the eventual ECAC New England Champions Western New England College15-10 in the opening round. More…
