Women's Soccer Coaching Staff
Vazquez enters his first season leading the Pilgrims. Over the past four seasons Vazquez has served as an assistant coach with the New England College men’s soccer program. Over four seasons Vazquez has helped lead the Pilgrims to an overall record of 40-27-7, four straight TCCC post season appearances and an appearance in the ECAC New England Tournament. Vazquez also served as an assistant women’s ice hockey coach and coached the junior varsity hockey team at NEC last season.
Vazquez also serves as the head coach for the New Hampshire Under-16 Olympic Development Program and the Seacoast United Under-18 Soccer Club. Paul currently holds a USSF C license and an NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma.
Vazquez is a graduate of Canisius College where he was a two year member of both the soccer and the ice hockey team.
Vazquez inherits a squad that went 6-9-2 overall last season and is looking to get the Pilgrims back into the TCCC Playoffs after a one-year hiatus.
Assistant Coahes
Kate Trachimowicz enters her second season as assistant coach for the women’s soccer team. Trachimowicz graduated from New England College in 2006 with her degree in Criminal Justice. While at NEC Trachimowicz played four seasons in goal for the Pilgrims finishing her career with a record of 26-23-4 and collected 395 saves. As Houghton’s assistant Kate will be responsible for working with the goalies as well as recruiting.
Bill Nardino enters his first season as an assistant coach of the women’s soccer team here at NEC. Nardino is heavily involved in New Hampshire soccer, which includes coaching at The Derryfield School in Manchester and coaching several youth teams in the area. Nardino’s college coaching experience includes serving as an assistant coach for the NHTI women’s soccer program last fall. Nardino played collegiate soccer at both NHTI and at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC and currently works for Modell’s Sporting Goods.
